Welcome to Mah Buddy, an educational AI study assistant operated by ZED_RO Corp ("ZED_RO Corp," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how Mah Buddy collects, uses, stores, protects, and shares information when you use our website, application, and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create or sign in to an account, we may collect your name or display name, email address, authentication information, profile information you choose to provide, and information associated with third-party sign-in providers such as Google. We do not receive your Google password.

Learning Profile Information

Mah Buddy may collect information you provide to personalise your learning experience, including age or age range, learning level, educational level, subjects or areas of study, preferred difficulty, preferred name, the name you choose to call Mah Buddy, quiz preferences, and flashcard preferences.

Conversations and Educational Content

When you interact with Mah Buddy, we may process questions, messages, answers and explanations, quiz responses, flashcard interactions, uploaded educational materials where supported, and other content you voluntarily submit.

Voice Information

If you use voice features, Mah Buddy may process audio or speech that you intentionally submit, text generated from speech recognition, and text converted into speech through text-to-speech functionality.

Technical Information

We may automatically receive limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, general usage information, error and diagnostic information, pages or features accessed, and dates and times of activity.

2. How We Use Information

We may use information to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide educational services, answer questions and generate explanations, personalise responses, generate quizzes and flashcards, remember relevant preferences, provide voice and text-to-speech functionality, maintain and improve the Service, detect and prevent security issues or misuse, diagnose technical problems, communicate about the Service, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

3. AI Processing

Mah Buddy uses artificial intelligence technologies to generate educational responses. Information submitted to Mah Buddy may be processed by AI service providers that help us operate the Service. Users should avoid submitting passwords, financial information, or other highly sensitive information that is not necessary for educational use.

4. Third-Party Services

Mah Buddy may use third-party providers for authentication, database and data storage, AI processing, text-to-speech, hosting and deployment, security, analytics, and error monitoring. 5. Google Sign-In

If you choose Google sign-in, Google handles authentication. Mah Buddy may receive information that Google makes available through authentication, such as your name, email address, and permitted profile information. We do not receive your Google password.

Mah Buddy may use cookies, local storage, session storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain functionality, and improve performance. Disabling these technologies may affect some features.

Mah Buddy is an educational service that may be used by students of different ages. 11. Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Mah Buddy is not designed to intentionally collect passwords for other services, full payment-card numbers through ordinary chat messages, government identification numbers, or highly sensitive information unrelated to educational use. Please do not submit such information through Mah Buddy.

Mah Buddy may use profile information and previous interactions to personalise educational responses, including vocabulary, explanation depth, question difficulty, quiz content, flashcard content, and teaching style. Personalisation is intended to improve the educational experience and is not a professional assessment of a user's intelligence or academic ability.
